Kathleen Nguyen is a freshman here at CSULB. We had a great conversation introducing ourselves and talking about today’s art exhibit. She is from the Bay Area and dorming at CSULB. Her major is in healthcare administration. She chose this major because she’s always had the passion for helping people, and managing hospitals is a good alternative and indirect way to pursue her passion. She also asked about where i’m from, what my major is and my plans for the future.
Upon graduation from CSULB, she plans to attend graduate school for further education in healthcare. We talked about one of the art pieces that caught her attention, that was by Nora Ayala. Nora’s art piece reminded Kathleen about people’s thoughts and after we read and interviewed the artist, it was about sexual orientation. The piece reminded me of a brainstorm bubble of various thoughts. Kathleen noticed that the “thoughts” seen on the art piece were overall negative about letting feelings out.
It was great meeting Kathleen. Check out her blog here!
