This week, I had the pleasure of meeting a new classmate, Diana. This is her first semester at CSULB and is really enjoying the college life. Although she is from the Orange County area, she lives on campus. She wants to get the feel of college life, without having to commute from home.
Diana is a pre-psych major and is interested in going into human development or personality psychology. As I was interviewing her, she was doing her counterfactual identity for this week’s activity. She normally doesn’t dress up for school. She’s usually in jeans and a t-shirt, very simple. She changed her wardrobe and was going to experiment and see how people perceived her.
She enjoys reading as one of her hobbies and would like to study abroad for a month, particularly in England sometime during college.
We also discussed some of the photos in the Faculty Invitational Exhibition, and what we thought about the photos. We discussed the possible meaning behind them, since there were no summaries. We both somewhat had the same ideas about the photos, especially David Yamamoto‘s photos about the recession.
It was great meeting Diana! Check out her blog here!
